Loose Animals – Excessive Dog Barking
Per our covenants, dogs must be on a leash when outside your fenced yard.
Of course, sometimes our furry friends manage to escape and we want to always try and get them back to their yard/owner.
However, if an animal is running lose constantly and/or with no identification, they should be reported to the Parker County Animal Control. You may also want to notify the HOA, however loose animals are the responsibility of Animal Control.
Parker County Animal Control
Parker County Animal Control is responsible for:
- Animals running at large
- Enforcement of the leash law
- Estray livestock
- Rabies control
Leash Law
There is a county-wide leash law in Parker County requiring that all dogs, not contained within your property, must be on a leash at all times. Any dog(s) not on a leash or contained within their property are subject to being impounded and taken to the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter in Weatherford.
CBC Pond Fishing Rules
Fish at your own risk
By fishing on the pond, you acknowledge that fishing is a dangerous sport that can result in injury, death, or drowning.
The HOA and property owners are not responsible for any incidents or accidents that may occur while you are fishing.
Only CBC property owners and their immediate family are allowed to fish in the CBC ponds.
All parties must respect the privacy concerns of adjacent property owners and keep at least 50 feet away from any residence.
The property surrounding all of the ponds is privately owned and permission must be obtained in advance to fish in the pond. Please contact an HOA Board Member regarding this permission.
Fishing is only allowed during daylight hours.
Children under 14 years of age must be under the direct supervision of an adult.
All trash must be controlled and removed.
If any fish is “gut hooked”, the line must be cut and the fish returned with the hook. Every attempt must be made to not further injure the fish.
Fishing in CBC ponds is primarily ‘catch and release.’ Only the following fish may be kept.
- Catfish over 15 inches in length
- Bluegill over 8 inches in length
No Large mouth/Black Bass may be kept.
